The included activator not only promotes superior bonding to the substrate but also ensures a consistent cure rate, allowing you to move from prep to paint faster. When mixed at the standard 4:1 ratio, a single gallon of primer produces five sprayable quarts, providing ample coverage of approximately 140 square feet—more than enough to coat an average-sized car or small truck.Proudly made in the USA, this primer-surfacer is built to withstand operating temperatures up to 150°F, ensuring it remains stable under the sun and during normal driving conditions. It is specifically designed to be applied over Eastwood Epoxy primers and old paint, serving as the critical intermediate layer that prevents "mapping" and ghosting of bodywork underneath your finish.
