Fireside Lodge Cedar Display Cabinet

This handcrafted cedar log display cabinet is built from solid northern white cedar and showcases natural knots, grain variation, and traditional hand-peeled log construction. The live-edge top and solid log frame create an authentic lodge-style presence while offering a refined way to display and store your favorite items.

The upper cabinet features glass doors and integrated lighting, making it ideal for showcasing collectibles, décor, glassware, or keepsakes. Two glass shelves provide an open, airy display while allowing light to pass through, enhancing visibility and creating a warm, inviting presentation.

Non-slamming hinges on the glass doors ensure smooth, quiet operation while helping protect the cabinet and its contents. Below, an enclosed cabinet offers additional concealed storage for items you prefer to keep tucked away, making this piece both functional and visually balanced.

Constructed from durable northern white cedar, this cabinet naturally resists moisture and wear while aging beautifully over time. Its versatile size makes it well-suited for living rooms, dining areas, offices, or entryways where both display and storage are needed.

About Northern White Cedar

All Fireside Lodge Cedar Furniture is crafted from northern white cedar, prized for its light weight, natural warmth, and excellent decay resistance. Natural variation in grain, knots, tone, and texture is expected and part of the appeal.

About Checking (Natural Wood Cracks)

Checking is natural in solid wood and log furniture and should be expected. As wood seasons and dries over time, it shrinks and swells at different rates, which can create surface cracks called “checks.” These checks are normal and do not affect the structural integrity of the furniture.

In log furniture, checks typically do not extend beyond the center of the log and may occasionally develop a secondary check. This is part of the authentic character of real wood furniture.
