- Rappel Ring by GM CLIMBING offers solid construction with 25kN / 5600lb high breaking strength. Available in two sizes: Small Ring-2" in diameter, Large Ring-2.7" in diameter. This seamless forged rappel ring can withstand forces from any direction by eliminating an 'easy-to-break' point along the ring circle.
- 【360° All-round】Tremendous friction will result in rapid wear and premature retirement of ropes/webbing. A 360° fully rounded rappel ring to minimize unnecessary friction and provide protection for your textile gear. Straightforward to use. Nice to rig a rappel ring into rope systems.
- 【Smooth Rope Pull】The entire ring, including interior and exterior, is fully round, free of edges and flats. This edge-less and rounded ring allows for smooth rope sliding, avoiding rope from getting stuck during pulling. Rappel ring has appropriate thickness: Small Ring-11.5mm thick; Large Ring-12mm thick.
- The rappel ring provides excellent solutions to minimize friction and wear, as well as for situations where a multi-directional attachment point is needed. Install a rappel ring on the harness bridge to enhance the climber's mobility by allowing greater freedom of movement and flexibility during climbing. A carabiner is susceptible to cross-loading when it is subjected to forces from two or more directions. Add a rappel ring between the carabiner and loadings to get the problem solved.
- 【Make a Friction Saver】Small ring + large ring, make a friction saver to protect your rope from abrasion.【For Hammock Suspension】Engage a pair of rappel rings in the hammock suspension line with garda hitch. It allows to easily tighten or adjust the hammock suspension. Rappel Rings are Widely used in rescue, tree care, arborist, rock climbing, trolley system, SRT, slackline system, and more.
