Comes with a 100-foot direct burial cable (PVC jacketed 5-core cable), the probe should be trenched and placed next to your drive
- Wide Application: Recommended for residential, agricultural, and commercial applications. The cable gland prevents water from entering the probe, avoiding cable damage, ensuring long-lasting performance
- High Sensitivity: The wand can sense changes in the earth's magnetic field caused by large amounts of metal movement, and then automatically open your gate, just turn the knob to adjust the sensitive area from 2 feet to 12 feet. It can detect vehicles (cars, trucks, motorcycles, ATVs, etc.), the larger the car or the faster it travels, the higher the sensitivity
- Easy to Install: Connects directly to the gate operator's control panel. Probes can be buried directly in the ground compared to toroidal coil models. No grounding required. Typically install the probe at least 25 feet from the gate, 2 inches deep in the ground and 8 inches from the edge of the driveway
