Whirlpool WPW10006384 Top Load Washer Drive Belt

This Top Load Washer Drive Belt causes your washer to spin properly during the washing cycle. If your washer pumps but does not spin or if the drum spins slowly, replacing this part may alleviate these issues. This part attaches to the motor pulley and the transmission at the bottom of the appliance. While the the bottom of the washing machine is accessible, also consider replacing the motor pulley. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also make sure you turn off the hot and cold water supplies. We also recommend using affresh® Washing Machine Cleaner Tablets* (item W10135699) once a month to help reduce odor-causing residue that can build up in your washing machine's drain without proper care. *affresh® brand products are owned and distributed by Whirlpool Corporation.
